Ecole Enterprise is a training company which invites families and young people to enjoy the benefits of personal development in life skills through their participation in performing arts. Young people are tutored by qualified sessional staff, not only in a variety of performance media – especially drama, music and dance – but also in the technical aspects of performances, such as sound and lighting, stage management, costume making and design. We deliver the training and assess an individual’s progress using the Scottish Government’s “Curriculum for Excellence in the Expressive Arts”. A description of an individual’s training programme, and his or her experiences and outcomes from participation in the company’s projects, will form part of a young person’s assessment portfolio. This can then be used afterwards to further enhance personal skills, and skills for the world of work. The company organises regular shows incorporating all major performance disciplines. There are regular rehearsals supported by professionally qualified sessional workers, and we provide opportunities for “devised” shows creating scripts and staging. We produce two fully-costumed shows each year, and several external events. You can also keep up with us through our Facebook page.

Ecole Enterprise is registered with Companies House No: 35282, and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) SCR 31498.
