Young people from the Southside of Glasgow have been working with professional artists to explore how Pollok House was used during WW1.
This exciting promenade performance that they have created moves through the house looking at different aspects of life in Glasgow during that time.
A moving and poignant portrayal of the lives of local folk.

Front & Back is a free performance taking place at Pollok House during Doors Open Day
2017. It is a piece of Promenade Theatre that moves through the house and takes
place in a number of different locations. Audience members are invited to move with
the performance as it happens. Front & Back will be performed at three separate times
on Sunday 17th September at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. The duration of the performance is
approximately 35 mins. No booking is required.
Front & Back is a partnership project bewteen Ecole Enterprise and National Trust for
Scotland and is funded by Museums and Galleries Scotland and National Trust for
Scotland. Use of the grand piano is granted by Pollok House Arts Society.
